Danny Naggiar is the founding and managing partner of Naggiar & Sarif, LLC, an Atlanta family law firm that represents clients in complex and high-stakes domestic litigation. He is regularly retained in cases where the financial issues are complex, the stakes are significant, or prior settlement efforts have failed. For more than two decades, Danny has focused his practice on sophisticated family law matters involving substantial marital estates, closely held businesses, executive compensation, and highly contested custody disputes.

Danny is known for his strategic approach to difficult cases and his ability to manage the legal and financial complexities that arise in high-asset divorce litigation. He regularly represents entrepreneurs, executives, professionals, and public figures throughout the Atlanta area. In matters where businesses, professional practices, and significant assets are involved, Danny’s background in business and finance allows him to effectively analyze valuation issues, compensation structures, and asset division strategies. He is also frequently consulted by other attorneys regarding complex financial issues that arise in divorce litigation.

Danny’s professional achievements have earned him numerous distinctions recognizing both legal ability and ethical standards. He holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the organization’s highest peer-review rating. He has also received the Martindale-Hubbell Client Distinction Award, an honor awarded to fewer than 4% of the approximately 900,000 attorneys listed by the organization. Danny has been selected to Super Lawyers for over a decade, including recognition among the Super Lawyers Top 100 in Georgia, and has been named to Georgia Trend Magazine’s Legal Elite. In addition, he has been recognized by Best Lawyers since 2023. The process is highly selective, with only 5% of U.S. lawyers and 3% globally earning this honor.

Danny graduated from Georgetown University Law Center in 2000. Prior to entering legal practice, he worked in California as a consultant in the commercial real estate and entertainment industries, gaining valuable experience in business and financial matters.

He later joined the United States Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps (JAG). During his military service, Danny was appointed Special Assistant United States Attorney for the Northern District of Georgia, where he prosecuted cases in federal court on behalf of the Army. He served nearly four years on active duty and was honorably discharged at the rank of Captain.

Following his military service, Danny served as Chief of Legal Assistance for the Department of the Army as a civilian attorney. In that role, he oversaw legal services for more than 30,000 service members, their families, and military retirees, advising and representing clients in family law, criminal law, and estate planning matters. During his tenure, the office received the Chief of Staff Legal Assistance Award, and Danny was personally honored with the Superior Civilian Service Award.

Danny’s military background provides him with a deep understanding of the legal and financial issues that uniquely affect service members and their families. He frequently represents members of the U.S. Armed Forces and military retirees, and he continues to support the military community by speaking at continuing legal education programs on military and family law issues.

In addition to his litigation practice, Danny is certified by the State of Georgia as both a Domestic and Civil Mediator, and he is often asked to assist parties and counsel in resolving complex family law disputes.

Danny is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, State Bar of Georgia, the State Bar of California, the Supreme Court of Georgia, and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.

He resides in North Fulton County and enjoys spending time with his two sons. Danny meets with clients by appointment at the firm’s Buckhead and Alpharetta offices, as well as via Zoom or phone.
