David Sarif
FOUNDING PARTNER
David Sarif was born in Cape Town, South Africa and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. After graduating from Woodward Academy, he attended the nationally recognized and top ranked McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration. David subsequently attended Georgia State University College of Law, where he earned accolades such as the CALI Award in Securities, Interests, and Liens. He graduated law school in 2004.
David has received many accolades during his legal career and been recognized by Best Lawyers in U.S. News and World Report as well as Georgia Trend Magazine as a Legal Elite attorney in Family Law and Divorce. He has also been honored as a Super Lawyer in numerous years in Atlanta Magazine and Super Lawyers Magazine. David has been an adjunct professor of law at John Marshall Law school where he taught family law and has been quoted by, assisted with stories for, written articles for, or appeared on CBS Atlanta, ESPN Outside the Lines, the Atlanta Journal and Constitution, OK Magazine, the Fulton County Daily Report, and Family Lawyer Magazine. David has also been the winning attorney on several cases before the Georgia Court of Appeals and Georgia Supreme Court. Many of David’s cases focus on high asset divorce or complex family law issues.
David is trained as a trial attorney, mediator, arbitrator, and also a Guardian Ad Litem. He enjoys spending his free time with his children and travelling.
He meets with clients facing divorce and family law issues in our Buckhead Atlanta (30305) office and also in our Roswell / Alpharetta (30009) office by appointment. David also offers consultations over Zoom and the telephone for those who prefer to meet that way.
